Hey y'all!
My name is Cole, I reside in North Texas and my wife and I just moved into a new home... Which means I need a new smoker! I am new to the forums and am looking forward to reading and learning a lot. I am an amature / back yard smoker that loves to tinker with new recipes and such. I'm excited to start posting pics soon.

Welcome Cole!  We love pics!  I too enjoy tinkering with recipes, but the family sometimes wishes I would leave well enough alone.  NEVER!  Too many great ideas coming from the great folks here at SMF!

doing a seasoning on my new smoker. I decided to go with the Dyna-glo wide body smoker. I'm about an hour and a half in and the temp is running just a little hot. Sprayed the whole inside with canola oil.
