It's been a while, so I wanted to do a "catching up" post inspired by
tx smoker
and one of his amazing recent posts.
Once the new year rolled around, I realized I had quite a bit of meat in the freezer and the week off work. I decided I would start the year off right with a marathon week of cooking. I posted a couple of these cooks a few weeks back (shrimp/crab boil, deer heart) but went ahead and included them here too. It was a great week of cooking and eating

Monday (Seared deer heart as an appetizer, picanha steaks for dinner):
Tuesday (did a batch of smoked peppered deer jerky for a snack, deer chili for dinner):
Wednesday (Shrimp/crab boil for my young boy's bday):
Thursday ( pork shoulder/pulled pork sandwiches):
Friday (Brisket and homeade sausage):
Weekend : Leftovers!
