The last 4 weeks I've done chickens, brisket, slamon, and BB's, I'd like to do something around 5lbs, I was thinking a pork butt, any other ideas?

You can never go wrong with a nice butt. I'm going to brine some chickens this weekend and smoke those. I suppose you could do a turkey breast. So many choices, so little time. :)

mmmm a meat loaf sounds good, I have a awesome recipe, but I'm leaning more and more towards a butt because I've never done one before, plus they're not expensive.

I hear yah, I want to keep my cost under $20. Oneco's has pork butt for $2.49, don't think I do much better than that.

Yup, the decision has been made, and butt it is.

(oh, and I already have a butt under my belt, but not the good kind

There's no doubt about that, he seems like a really cool guy, it's one of the things that makes his place so popular.

Get a big butt

Leftovers are great.

Got a 7.5 pounder, wasn't sure how well it would hold until Saturday so the owner vacuum packed it for me, what a great place!!
