yeah you guys have really expanded my knowledge and cooking skills. Of course the wife says that you are a bunch of enablers. But, I’m know not to listen to her….or at least I think that’s what she said.

They just don't seem to have a good sense of humor when we buy these things we need either do they don't they realize that we only buy them so we can make better food for them
Bought my first brand new Weber of my very own last year before we closed on our home, the 26” kettle. It’s seen a ton of use and the extra cooking space is well worth it if you ever cook for a crowd, or like to do things that take up a lot of space like wings, poppers, multiple racks of ribs, etc. Got the slow n’ sear at the same time and i use it virtually every time I cook.
I recently got ahold of a $30 Craigslist special 22” for the sake of portability (fits lying down in truck bed under tonneau cover without disassembly, needed something to smoke prime rib at in-law’s for Christmas this weekend). It’s amazing how much smaller it really is. If you do two-zone cooking like I constantly do, you run out of space pretty quickly. They’re both great units though, but if you only need one for starters I would recommend the 26” without any hesitation.
