Hi all. First post in this thread. Wanted to ask about the safety/ correctness of this method of grilling my turkey for Thanksgiving. I will be using Meatheads spatchcocked turkey recipe on my Broilmaster. Which would be the best way to set my pan up? I will be using the burners on the opposite side so there would be no direct heat on the bird. Thank you in advance all!

Edit: the pictures wont upload. Option one is waterpan on top of grates with grates over and turkey on top. Option two is to strip the grill of the divider and burner and put it underneath, with the grates on top and the turkey on top of that.

Did numerous birds back in the day with the indirect method. Bird on rack above water pan on the flavorizer bars . Burners on opposite side about medium heat
