Our office manager just got a 380 Smith&Wesson and I had to explain that you don't use your finger and thumb to chamber. Overhand back and let go. She went through a box a couple of weeks ago and got it down. I'm sure Walther is a good make. They've been around for a long while...I have put thousands of rounds through this model. As is typical of blowback designs, the recoil spring is quite stiff, to the point many people find it to be a problem when chambering a round. The trigger pull-weight is also very heavy.
This aside, the Walther is accurate and compact, with a good feel in most people's hands.
