I've noticed some of the places that sell seasoning, some of the mixes have a "W" at the beginning of the name. Does anybody know what the "W" means? If this should be in the sausage thread go ahead and move it.

I know that all of the Alton's products have a W in front!
Kidding aside I did some looking and could not find anything.
Could you post up a pic?

Here is a pic I see this on multiple sites, I asked Great American Spice Co what it meant on there website this is the answer they gave, "Thank you for contacting Great American Spice! To be honest, I am not sure what the W stands for. This product pre-dates our taking over Great American Spice from its previous owners eight years ago, and all of the spec sheets we have for it only say W Summer Sausage, so unfortunately, it seems it will have to remain a mystery." Here is a pic from Walton's.

It makes sense sort of on the Walton's site but if your seeing across multiple than who knows. Maybe the other sites are borrowing Walton's photo's!
It thought you meant it was on the packaging like a U or K.
No clue!

I've seen it across multiple sites, I doubt if they would be borrowing photos that seems like a copyright infringement to me.
