One heck of a good looking plate Ray! As far as that steak goes...knock it's horn's off, wipe it's a--, and trot it across the grill...done. Ryan

You bet Ryan, I love it! All I want is charred on the outside and rare in the middle, I believe that's where the best beef flavor is achieved. Gray in the center? Ugh, completely ruined in my opinion. Thank you for the Like Ryan, it is much appreciated. RAY

Awesome looking ribeye and just a wonderful plate to sit down to Ray!

I really gotta get a vortex/kettle combo on of these days. They seem to make the perfect steaks and awesome looking wings!

Thanks a lot Joe, and thanks for the Like , most appreciated. The vortex turned my kettle into the most valuable tool in the box. I am of the opinion right now that if I could have only one backyard cooking unit it would be the 26" Weber with a SnS and a Vortex. Big enough and versatile enough to do just about everything and anything any way you want to do it. I still may go that way should I ever decide my stick burner needs to go down the road. RAY

Ray, That is a nice looking piece of meat right there! Smoke ON! - Jason

Thanks Jason! My thought on the first one was to count to sixty and see how things went, was perfect for me, so now I just do that every time. Thanks you for the Like Jason, I do appreciate it. RAY

I kept looking for the correction from 1 minute per side to something reasonable. ;-)

Wow...I think we need a new superhero named "VortexMan" or something. :D

Hey, thank you very much Jack, and thanks for the Like, much appreciated! Hey, look at that, we signed up on SMF within a few day of each other! RAY

How bout that. Small world, huh?

Thanks for the "Blow by blow" on using the vortex for steak. I've only used mine for wings and thighs, so far, but had wondered about steak.

Your welcome for the well deserved like Ray. :emoji_thumbsup:
