Venison Sausage Jerky?

Has anyone ever made jerky from venison sausage? I got to thinking why not? I bet snack sticks would be good! I have a lot of sausage and don't eat it as quick as the regular ground so looking for ideas.

What do you think? What type of cure would I use?

Now that does sound pretty good but I would like to see it thou. So give it a try and let us know how it comes out. Maybe I'll try it after you give it a try first.

Check this link out, i made all 4lb from ground venison sausage. I used high mountain seasoning and some ghost chili powder, and they came out perfect. Ground venison sausage is all i use to make snack sticks, just gives it a better flavor i think.
