Nasty stuff, those buggers give me the creeps .had to remove one of those suckers form ear of my 5YO, luckily not in ear canal itlesf. quite a thing.
 
Ah come on bear you can do it that's why they made that little blue pill. BTW are you and your family in VT. We have a sleuth of Bears roaming around getting into all types of mischief. :)

Living right in the middle of the woods gets us all these types of critters, however we haven't seen a Tic this year yet.
Usually have them all over---I even had one upstairs, walking across my iMac27 a few years ago.

We didn't see any of our other new pest yet this year---The dreaded "Spotted Lanternfly"!!!
I think they show up a little later in the Summer/Fall.
