When smoking spare ribs shoud bone side be up or down

Down.

If you wrap though, depends.  I still stay bone down but some do the opposite.

Hello and welcome. I start out bone side down, when I wrap bone up, then unwrap and finish bone down.  I am sure you will get a lot of different answers.
