I have used this company's bottled Salmon sauce, on my finished Salmon for quite some time, but I have always wanted to try their dry rub which so far, can only be bought directly from Canada, so I took the plunge.
Just to make sure I didn't ruin the whole dinner, I cut it in half applying one filet with the rub and the other with our regular lemon, onion, olive oil mixture. Initially I thought the Canadian rub was going to be way too salty but after it started cooking, it was an unreal surprise to discover that it immediately mellow out giving the Salmon a sweet flavor.
