So I bought the z grill typhoon pellet grill 706. Simple to put together, started up perfectly, went through break-in perfectly.
I have a 8# butt going now and I have now owned the grill 24hrs. It's working perfect, I have the damper set perfectly. There is no temperature changes period, it holds at the set temperature even when I manually feeding chips still no temp changes.
This is not my first time smoke. This machine is worth every penny! Learn to set your damper and walk away it will stay at set temperature even in 10-15 mph wind today.

About another hr or 2.

Welcome from Colorado.

You checking temps with a remote thermometer, or the one on the cooker? Most always two different readings.

Welcome to the forum from Minnesota! Glad your grill is working good! Post up some pictures of it and your cook your doing.

I use meat probe while cooking, final temp is digital I have hand held. They where 5 degrees difference.

Thank you,I'm sure my wife would take pictures of me using my new toy.

Welcome from Tennessee.........why are you and how are you "hand feeding wood chips" to a pellet smoker?
My grill has a manual over ride button,so if I want more smoke I can! Being a built in option I decide to use it. Want a picture?

Because it's a factory option,it's fed by the auger!

There you go! Pictures worth a thousand words.
