Good afternoon (on the East Coast anyway). I am going to be smoking a turkey breast for Thanksgiving. I have smoked burgers, pork ribs, pork chops and a pork butt in the past, to great success. I have a Masterbuilt 40" electric smoker. A buddy smokes a lot of meat and said that Myron Mixin's rib rub was great for everything. My idea is to smoke it in Apple chips. I am really new to the smoking world, only a grill up until this year, and always looking to learn more. Any good ideas for a rub? Also I read a lot about brines. Not real sure about that process yet, any help? Thanks a bunch for all your help. PS. I have a large family (6 kids and a spouse) so I like to smoke as much as I can as it's easier and so much better tasting. Any and all help is greatly appreciated!
