Hey All!! Just giving you an update.

Brined turkey in salt/water/sugar mix for 12 hours or so. Then washed it and put alittle rub on it.

Turkey has been on for hour and a half. Chicken just got thrown on! Those were in a brine also, put some rub on, and on a few I injected with the honey bacon sauce that I love!

SB!!!!

I'm a little disappointed...I saw "turkey and chicken galore" and I was expecting a massive Q-View!

That's okay though...you can make it up to me when they come off the smoker

Lookin' good SB!  At what temp are you running the smoker?

Might want to crank it up towards the end to get good crispy skin on them birds.

Thanks for the q-view!  I'm breaking out an old recipe tonight - one I've done before but never on the smoker.

Pumpkin and walnut stuffed chicken breasts!  You'll see the thread later.

That sounds awesome Bill!!! Going to have to try it, I'll be on the look out later for sure. At 225-230. I will make a bigger fire towards the end, thanks for the tip! Makes sense
