Has anyone used a Dyna-Glo wood smoker? I am going to get a back yard smoker since the MES 30 has not given me the results that I am looking for. Is there another brand that anyone cvan suggest? I am familiar with the brinkmann and weber smokers.

Thank you very much.

Most will swear by the Webber Smokey Mountain if you're looking for charcoal.

I think if you are looking for a pure wood burner you'll want to save up some cash and spend a lot. I've only read reviews of the Dynas and all seem decent, but if you want to only do stick burning then investing in serious heavy metal, well designed and constructed will be worth it. For the Webber smokey mountain (WSM) my dads used WSM for as long as I can remember and they have an awesome reputation. Also now there is a lot of after market mods you can get that will make it a really a great/versital and reliable toy!

I bought a Dyna-Glo vertical offset back earlier in the summer. I couldn't pass up the $150 price tag on Walmart website. It was very easy to assemble and I've had fantastic cooking results. The included thermo sucks, upgrade it for sure, and there are a few leaks that can be easily fixed up. You can't go wrong for the $ and it looks nice too!
