Today's project so the kids get off my case for a few days...the pool. It's assembled and filling has started. They're not too happy with my filling schedule of 1 hour on, 1 hour off, to avoid burning up our well pump. Kids got no patience when they want to swim...

Dude you don't stop do you? You have accomplished more in the last 2 weeks than I have done in the last 2 years...lol Once the water gets to a foot, let the kiddies roll around in the cool water. My pool is up to at least 86 now.

Nope. Gotta keep moving...but I did break for the night. Too tired to make anything for dinner so took the family to Sonic, now relaxing and starting season 2 of Landman with the wife and sipping on whiskey #1 of the night.

Pool is filled. Took it slow over 3 days to now burn up the well pump. Now getting get salt in it and the sytem going.

Just in time too, supposed to be 101° tomorrow.

101 if that pool is in full sun it will be 95 deg in no time...when my pool hits 90+ I don't even want to go in. When my heater goes I am looking into a heater/chiller combo unit.

Playing around on Gemini with design ideas for the smoking area. This is what I'm leaning towards. Ground level deck, hardtop netted gazebo (because F these damn bugs!), Old Country Pecos on one side, Old Country Vacquero Santa Maria up front, and the bar under the gazebo is my Blackstone with a hibachi table built around it. Starting contruction on the deck tomorrow.

Quig, don’t know exactly where you were in WI but parts of Appleton/Menasha/Neenah nearly got wiped out yesterday. It is pretty devastating.

I saw...we were in Greenleaf, about 20 miles northeast of Appleton. All friends and family are good, but man...it's sad to see the damage.
