Tried some of the sauce @jcam222 did his pork butt with. I bought a 2 pack and used the milder one for first attempt. I will say they came out very tasty and I will do them again. Thinking of some tweaks I can do. Had a nice tanginess with a bit of spiciness to them. Did a little Kinders The blend under the sauce and feel it added a nice undertone of garlic and pepper.

6hr smoke no wrap. Spritzed a few times with acv and water. This was just a smoke to try it out. No real meal made, just ribs. Only one rack. I want to play around with this a bit to dial in a taste I want. They were damn good for a first go though!

Ribs look great, I've not seen that sauce before will check it out. Note it's not the jerk though. They make both a mild and hot that say jerk on the label.

Yeah I caught that after I posted. I have the hot jerk sauce. I will try that next time, this sauce was very good though. Almost same ingredients as the jerk sauce. Thanks again!

I'll try that sauce now!

WalkersWood jerk is the real deal and they also have a hot version. First ingredient is Habanero.

A good marinade is also Walkerswood, low sodium tamari, grated lime zest, ginger, garlic and lime juice. Really good on wings and thighs. And possibly steak ;)

I’ll have to look into that one. Thanks!!

OK, those look amazing! I also grabbed some of that Walkerswood marinate and seasoning. Spicey of course. Thank you @jcam222 for showing us the sauce!

Looks great!

I like the jarred stuff is good on it's own but I tweak to get closer to real jerk. Main thing missing in the jarred paste is onion. Below is a legit paste and also a good read. I use the jarred stuff as a base and add onion/lime juice/allspice/BP etc to my liking. Green stuff is new to me as well.
