Well the leaves are changing and the days are getting noticeably shorter. The cooler weather has started settling in and the number of comfortable smoking/grilling days are becoming less and less frequent. As my mother always told me "Waste not, Want not". So here we go with another round of TT.

First up my old trusty companion:

I also took out an old friend that hasn't seen the light of day for a few years. No mold or pest infestations. She's as good as the day I parked her.

I didn't cook on her today(that will come on Saturday), but she did contribute to this cook. I found a whole charcoal ring full of briquettes that I had snuffed out. So into the starter to light, and then into the Vortex to provide the heat.

One TT over the coals. Rubbed down with Montreal Steak seasoning on one side.

Appreciate it Ray, After we were done eating I got a great slice of blood bread off that board. One of these days I'm gonna grind my own burger. With the scarcity of TT I just can't bring myself to do it yet.

Chris

Glad you are seeing TT up in the great white north. I would have to buy them in bulk at Restaurant depot.

Hell yes!!! I did one on my bronco last week, but I've been very very lazy about posting of late. That looks killer!

Chris
things of beauty. we actually got some in to the latin market this week. Tri tip tonight. All day corned beef for pastrami Sunday, since everything got rained out recreationally and we're slightly flooding.

That’s perfection among TT’s right there! Very nice Chris!

Nice work Chris. Cooked perfectly

Fantastic looking tri tip , Chris. Cooked to perfection.

Looks great to me. Wife would pass as she's not a rare fan.
TT about as rare (and high priced) as hen's teeth up here.

My calendar is messed up, too. First day off in 3 weeks.
