I'll probably miss this one too but, it does sound like an interesting view. Never seen an eclipse, however, I do remember when I was in Italy as a little kid and wondering why it got dark outside one late afternoon.

First one I saw was in the early 70's. Since then they have usually been obscured by clouds or I was asleep. This should be fun. Thanks...JJ

Yup I've been looking forward to this one & hoping for clear skies. I plan on having a nice long smoke going on & if it's clear I'll have my scope set up to enjoy things

I have seen a few Lunar eclipses but only one solar eclipses. It was a little eerie. The animals were even affected. They couldn't figure what was going on. My dogs acted a little weird in a funny kind of way. Have fun viewing guys.
