Today's My Aniversary

It was 40yrs ago today that I set foot in Vietnam as a just turned 20 Helicopter Pilot, I was 19 when I graduated flight school in June and went to Fort Hood to form up a new unit and then onto Nam. We were just kids

Today their older because there using the Guard but that doesn't make it better, I very proud of those serving today

I've said it before elsewhere, and I'll say it again. You, my Brother, make us all proud with your service. I hope we all honor the service of our countrymen in their tasks set before them.

BlackHawk, I look forward to the day when I can shake your hand and buy you a cold beer!

i am considered vietnam ERA vet.................but didn't go there.......freeze on ALL movment.............73...couldn't get a assignment to germany...........but i do NOT consider me a real nam vet..........thank you for YOUR comement

Blackhawk thanks for your service! Like walking dude I was in during Nam but never went. Almost got in some fights in Jr. College because my dad and two of my girlfriends brothers (now my wife) were there. Remember those that have served and those that continue to serve this great country!
