Wow---How much snow did you get in Dallas?

Looks like a good amount of snow in the picture!

You are in Dallas, right?

Bear

yes sir. Actually McKinney just north of DFW area.

We're all considered part of the "metroplex"

We got officially 6", but that was the new snowfall on top of 2" of solid ice.

So, we're sitting around the 8" mark of total precip. in 48 hrs. BRUTAL.

The 20mph winds finally blew the smoker cover off, and since I had to run to the store I couldn't let my prized Okla. Joe Smoker go unused and uncovered.

The plus side, since Kroger traffic was so low due to the weather, I picked up 4 racks of Baby Backs for $2.99 a lb. I decided to go ahead and get me a nice 9-1/2 trimmed Brisket flat for $22.00 as well.

I guess this weather crisis has it's advantages for us BBQ folks !

I am about over the cold and snow...sheesh....

 Have a great day!!
