Tips for Seasoning New MES140

Hi Everyone,
Just got my new MES 140 and was wondering what you guys do to season the smoker before I smoke some ribs this weekend? Any tips or ideas are greatly appreciated thanks.

If memory serves me correctly on my MES30, it had me run up the temperature for awhile, the come back down. Repeat a couple times. Whatever it was, it's in the instruction manual. Follow along with it and you'll be fine.

Couple hrs at 275°, then couple hrs with some smoke and should be good to go.

if I remember right with my mes 30, heated at 275 for an hour then added smoke for two more hours.
