I've had a small 10.1 cu ft beer, snack, meat and whatever fridge for a few years now. I bought a drink cooler a couple of years ago to keep cheese and SS in. My wife called me a little over a week ago and said the cheese cooler was screaming like a banshee, I think you need to replace it. We shopped around and found what we think was a good deal on a 20 cu ft fridge at lowe's to replace both. Not much more than just replacing the cooler. I'll take the 10.1 fridge to work and don't know what use there is for a small drink cooler with a failing compressor. I would like to try using it for a curing cabinet but without temp control I don't think it will work.

You should be able to crank it up to max and combine it with something like this to control the temp, Auber makes a PID controller that I use for my smoker that would likely work as well but guessing you don't need anything that advanced for long durations.

Also if you're shopping for something bigger try FB marketplace, I got a TRUE merchandiser like what you'd see in a checkout lane for about $300, works well as a beer fridge or for sticking the brining bucket for turkey day.
