Thoughts on portable pellet grills

Well, after taking measuring the storage door on the trailer the freedom grill was just a little too tall to fit……so that’s a no go for me…..

So I ended up pulling the trigger on this one….gonna give it spin over Father’s Day when we are out camping…..this one can fit in a tote and right in the front trailer storage….

It doesn’t have a large pellet pot 4lbs vs 7-8 of the others but that was a plus for me ie….4 less lbs to carry and I will always be near to fill it when needed.

Appears to be a clone of the Asmoke.

I've heard good things about the GMG Davy Crocket, from my brother in law

That size is appealing. Looking forward to a report

Ummm ok , wow I run an 84D Lang, A 270 Smokers charcoal cabinet, a Smokin Tex electric and a Weber Kettle AND I'm considering a pellet grill for quicker cooks when I have little time. They all serve a purpose.
Every time I have smoked meat off a pellet smoker the smoke flavor just seems to be lacking. The taste is bland.

That's why I don't care for them.

I'll do a little review for you, and yes, the size is what won me over. Being able to keep it in my Trailer in a tote is a huge plus.
