A guy at work (let's call him - "Ross") lurks around here and was asking for an example of what thin blue smoke (TBS) looked like. Luckily I had thrown in a 1/2 Boston Butt (4.1 pounds) in the smoker this morning and came home for lunch to check on it. I thought I should post these pic's so he can see TBS and how I did it. The pics are thumbnails so they can be enlarged.

TBS accomplished with AMZNPS and an MES40. BTW - 10 hours at 240F still required 45 minutes in the oven, wrapped in foil, to get it to an internal temp of 205F.

Oh yeah - quit lurking and join this forum "Ross"!
