Love my Thermo Pop. Not sure if I got a Gen1 or Gen2, I'm guessing a Gen1 beings I bought it 1-2yrs ago. What did they change between the two? Just by reading the front of the box mine has the same specs.

I honestly don't know. this one was gifted to me as part of a throwdown thingy.

from:the google gods.: The main differences between the ThermoPop and ThermoPop 2 are in display, accuracy, speed, and waterproofing. The ThermoPop 2 has a larger, auto-rotating display that's easier to read, is more accurate (±1°F vs. ±2°F), and has faster temperature readings (2-3 seconds vs. 3-4 seconds). It's also fully waterproof (IP67) compared to the original ThermoPop's splash-proof design (IP66).

Been thinking of getting a Thermo Pop. Would love to hear your thoughts on it, though I'm sure it'll be great, Thermo never disappoints!

Very nice!!!!

I don’t have a pop but love my pen one and executive needle ( i use the crap out of the needle).

I use mine quite often and even the wife uses it here and there. Quick and simple from big cuts like butts to salmon fillets. The rotating display is kind of nice too, which at first I didn't think was a big deal as I just needed something affordable and reliable but now that I have it I notice more. Was using it last night on a Tuna Steak

LOL that's all I needed to hear. Pulled up the site, and ending up enabling myself. Since you know, Memorial Day sales so 20% off the site, plus I ended up getting another ThermaPen since that's 30% off. Which reminds me...
