Thermoworks RFX 2 month review

Have used it through (2) 10 hour smokes and (2) 4 hour smokes. Bought the (2) probe package. Love the app (IOS) and overall ease of use. Overall it has worked perfectly with the exception of one probe. Battery life is only 2 hours on this probe. Thermoworks tried to troubleshoot the app/probe over the phone about a month ago. I did another smoke yesterday and this probe failed again after 2 hours. After a call to Thermoworks today they are sending me a free replacement probe. Fair enough.

I love mine for the most part. Only negative is you cant wrap in foil or place in a pan as it will lose signal. You have to push it through and leave end exposed which isnt ideal as you cant tell if placed correctly. No charging issues with mine yet. I am having my nephew 3D print a storage box for it. Got link to the plans from this site and modified it for four probes.
