I know this isn’t the right area but I posted in thermometers and searched and haven’t gotten any results yet so figured I’d try here.
Anybody have any use or reviews on this thermometer? I saw it on an Instagram post (random search of #greenmountaingrills) and it seems like a nice unit for a good price. I’d like to get a dual probe thermometer but I don’t want to spend more than $50 (I know I know you get what you pay for)

Suggestions would be welcome as well for other units

I use the TP-20 . Check out that link . Not sure what it sells for today , but you should get the discount .
Have not used the one you posted .
That looks like a better quality unit. I haven’t researched thermometers at all really. I bought a maverick probe thermometer a few years back and it did my family well, but it bit the dust several months back. So I’m in the market for a new one

My first BBQ thermometer (Real one) was the TP-08. One grill probe, one meat probe, WiFi to 300'.
The range appealed to me. I figured it would work for my house, and it does.
The TP-20 comes with 2 meat probes, and no grill temp probe.

I didn't see a need at the time for multiple meat probes. But I wanted Grill Temp and Meat Temp.

Lately, I got an Inkbird 4X when they became a sponsor. It came with a grill probe, and 3 meat probes.
I didn't/don't need two grill probes, so I got an additional meat probe and hold the OEM grill probe in reserve.
(Thanks again to Bmudd for your help!)

In real life, the Inkbird gives me bluetooth reads to my Android phone (limited range, but interesting app).
And the TP-08 monitors the grill (smoker) temp, and a fifth probe if desired.

The only time so far I've wanted 4 meat probes is for 4 slabs of bacon smoking to monitor the IT.
But I have them, in case I want or need them, in case something fails mid-cook.
So I don't have all my eggs in one basket. ;)

The TP-20 is a good reliable thermo. Been using it over a yr, And a couple guys I work with here have picked them up. They are easy to use and good product.

Tp-20, can either use both probes for meat or 1 meat, 1 cook temp either way.

Why I posted;

Some people new to smoking may not know they are universal probes. Some places sell meat probes, some cook probes, and hybrid probes.

Really? No Kidding!

True , to a point . It can monitor chamber temp , with a high alarm setting . You can't set it for low temp alarm , but it will read out the temp in the cabinet . Drive you completely insane with an MES . To much over / under runs of the temp .
TP-08 has the single meat probe , with grill temp probe and high / low temp alarms . I use this one on my WSM .

Jake make sure you take advantage of the discount .

For sure! I put it in my amazon cart and with discount knocks a smidge over $10 off

Look at the registration when you get it . I think if you register it extends the probe warranty to 3 years .
