I ordered a Turducken for Thanksgiving, I was planning on smoking it, but my girls thought It would be better just to have it cooked in the oven in the kitchen.

I conceded.

I have smoked several turkeys with great results and everybody liked them.

The Turducken is in the oven now.

I can post pics when it's done. Or is that a sacrilege?

Oh no, birds are much better smoked IMHO !

It's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.

Hope your bird turns out good !

It will be good. From a local butcher. All fresh made w/ cornbread, apple, smoked Gouda and bacon stuffing.

At 250. I cook good inside too!

It came out real nice! A first for me. Prolly just as well I did in inside. Flavor was excellent. Juicy and tender.

Let It rest an hour or so.

Made for a tasty Thanksgiving!

Wishing all a Happy Thanksgiving!
