Marianski has been an interesting read so far.Marianski and Poli, are who I look to.
In your opinion Does anyone recipe from the book standout above the others? I have made 4 of the venison breakfast sausage recipe's but I wasn't really impressed with the flavor. Because of that I have been buying premixed seasonings for the most part but I still want to experiment. I was hoping for a bigger response from the forum before I purchase another book.i own it and like it. Don't have the other books mentioned, so I can't make a comparison.
not really. the recipes are good but many are almost identical, with very minor changes. In your opinion Does anyone recipe from the book standout above the others? true. i like learning techniques, not necessarily recipes. Both Adam and Stanley Marianski have authored sausage recipe books, I want to say 5 or 6 between them. The Kutas book is nice because of the color photo section showing the actual process start to finish, but the binding is horrible. We likely have 500 cookbooks in our collection and many are enjoyable to read.... but to be honest, some YouTube videos on butchering various primals, sausage making and even competition BBQ methods are slowly replacing books.
Right. Knowing technique allows you to create many recipes.true. i like learning techniques, not necessarily recipes.
