Here is what the new cooking area on my deck looks like. Built a platform to get the smoker up a little higher, easier on my old back. Laid pavers and trimmed with treated wood. Now I can just powerwash this area when it gets dirty and don't have to worry bout ash and chips gettin on the deck.

Still have to install some lights and outlets, just haven't setteled on those plans yet.

Looks great, Trav! It represents a smoker experiment station where the goodies are made

Looks good we will be adding a deck to our house this spring and I am planning on making a smoking/grilling area that looks like a good way to do it thanks for the pics. Travis

Yup, we love the motorhome too, bought that about 6 years ago, pulled all the interior out and redid everything! All new systems. She now runs on diesel. Hope to get it painted soon, but wanted to wait until I had all the holes cut in the body for new stuff.

She's a 65 crossover, the year dodge offically quit making them and they became Travco.

Nice deck mod, Tip!......but, where's the pic of the new neighbor's house so we know where to "dispose" of our empty beverage cans when we come invade your party pad?..........hehe

Good Job......now get back to smokin....we need more pics!!.....LOL

good point smokewatcher, funny how we seem to miss things here and there-is so true were all here to help.

The propane tank isn't staying there, I don't leave it hooked to the smoker unless I'm using it. If I'm grillin it's not there. The next step is running a line over from a 100 pound tank I have. Just gotta do things a little at a time, got momma projects too.

now that's what I call a secured corner of the world. Nice job my friend.
