Well, your dating yourself if you get that reference lol.
Anndd I wish it had been 96 oz' but I was happy with what I had! In another post of mine, I mentioned that I got some beef from my BIL so he could make room for a beef they are having done. So anyway, I had this package that was originally stickered rib steak, then marked out and stickered rib roast. Set it out to thawed with a single t bone . The wife said something about the roast and I was like, you mean the steaks, then she said I'm pretty sure it's a roast in which I said I'm 100% sure it's going to be steaks! So I took the roast and cut it in half and had 2 of the most beautiful steaks I've ever grilled! Paired up the beef with venison heart and onions cooked in the beef fat I trimmed from the t bone.
Im pretty sure i could eat 96 oz' of this no problem.

Well, that's one way to win an argument. :emoji_stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Nice looking steaks! Old 96er! :emoji_laughing: :emoji_laughing:
Saw a clip the other day on tik tok about The Great Outdoors Old 96 er and jogged my childhood memory of it lol! John Candy was taken from us too soon! So funny!

Those look perfect from my vantage point

Point for sure
Chris
Thanks, I couldnt imagine them turning out any better! My mouth is watering again just typing this!

If anyone coulda eaten a 6 lb steak it would have been John. I like his old movies.
But regardless, your steaks look great. A 2-bone rib roast would make excellent steaks.
Why even mess with a T-bone.
