I suppose this isn't the case with our Southern members, but here in Ohio my garage is a nice 42F and it'll be cooler in real cold weather. I put a shelf on the garage wall just outside to the door to the kitchen, and it's easy to go park some big pot that won't fit in the fridge.

We did this when I was growing up, but instead of having a shelf we had a 1977 Buick LeSabre. It made a nice big shelf until Mom needed to go somewhere.

Yep my garage has been the overflow fridge for the last month. My mountain bike hangs from the ceiling. It makes a good sausage drying rack this time of year!

Funny how things go we always did the same thing with our enclosed back porch and still do. Next week after Thanksgiving we well for sure be using our walk in and before to store pies and cakes in.

I use the table on the patio. I use the garage to hang sausages overnight and to put a fan on salmon to form the pellicle.
