The Exchange Program Is Back!

EXCELLENT point Piney. The original exchange was a swap, and no money was involved.

It was purely a " I have this" and another person would post "I have that" and a swap was made. No money changed hands and any problems never had the chance to start.

If folks have issues with paying for the shipping charges, pleasse remember that your "swapper" is paying same to ship to you.

As Piney says, anything more than this becomes a mail order post and that is not what we want.

I totally agree, if it is just selling items then there are plenty of sites on the net to buy from, this should be a friendly exchange between site members.

It might also be a good idea to have each member rate the ITEM they receive for quality, taste, etc so others know what is good and what is not.

I think it would be great if the program was complete exchanges between members but there are sure to be instances where someone may need a particular item yet have no real item of any significance to send back in trade, I think it those special circumstances the decision of how to compensate for items received should be handled in an agreeable manner between the two parties, that way even those who may not have specialty items to offer on a regular basis could still participate or request certain needed goods.
