I have both onset and maintenance insomnia. I feel your pain. I put in about 45 hours a week at my regular job and work a part time gig.

3 part time checks ago I brought home a 72 hour 2 week paycheck and then a 68 hour paycheck the next cycle. Then I got pneumonia.

I was really "needed' by the part time gig those few weeks, but it'll be a cold day in hell before I pull that stunt again. That one made me feel my years. I told them straight up that if asked again I would say no.

I will have at least 1 spell per month (and more like every 2-3 weeks to be honest) where my body just won't sleep. I might get a few little naps in over a 72 hour period that equal 6-8 hours of sleep, but it's never deep enough to be real sleep. And I take enough meds to down a rhino, but when it's that time of the month, it ain't even putting a dent in this old rhino.
My doc prescribed me trazodone last week to help, haven't taken it yet as I'm tryingnto fix it naturally, but I'm close to giving it a go.

Yes but not for the same reasons…. Chronic sleep issues have plagued me for 2-3decades. Tried Various sleep aids, prescriptions, etc. nothing works for very long, except weed. Which is legal here now. But that’s a whole other thing that I don’t want start up.

Work related. I get it and be careful! In my mid 20s I worked graves full time and part time/ on call. I did crash a truck it wasn’t good no one died. But I dropped to one job after that.

Melatonin is the only reason I'm able to sleep 5-6 hrs some nights.
Went thru insomnia is my 20's-30's.
Still don't require much sleep but try to get a nap after Sunday lunch.

Got up this morning at 4am and went right to work on salsa and hot sauces. We just expanded into this market and have 4 launches scheduled this week. Got done with a batch of one of the new release salsas and one of the new release hot sauces. Feel accomplished but beat...wife isn't sure how I manage to do it. I work a normal full time 40 hr/week job, run our spice business that started off small but we've expanded into dips, salsas, sauces, and merch that we do all ourselves, as well as our other laser engraving business and coach my daughter's soccer team. I run on about 3 hours of sleep a day, which I know probably isn't great for my health but I just have a hard time shutting my brain down and going to sleep. Anyone else like this, and how do you balance things and get decent sleep?
I used to run my full time business on 4-6 hrs of sleep. Don't know how I did it. Now retired and sleep 10-12 hrs. I feel much better and have a drive now that I can do more in less time. It does matter, don't work your fingers to the bone - you'll end up with boney fingers.

im good with 5hr sleep. most night i wake up 7hrs or less. crash around dark and get up 3-6 every morning no alarm. 3+ decades construction work will do that to ya. lol

Quiganomics Quiganomics sir if you are that busy and coaching a child's soccer team you can't be that old. I'm an almost 46yo with a 5yo son. You owe it to her to get some sleep. Took me a while, I get it. I hate to be that guy but man, do it for the kids.

I'm with you most nights get 0-3 hours of sleep maybe once a week I'll get about 6 not all at once but total for the night. Mine is more health related so not by choice haven't slept for over 3 hours straight in years usually more like 1-1.5 hours at a time
This is how I roll as well, no mater what I do, I'm just not a good sleeper.
My wife, on the other hand, can and has slept through a 7.3 earthquake, that woman can sleep 14hrs straight if I left her alone, which I don't. :emoji_laughing:

This is how I slept when I was working construction as well.

38 yrs of construction will wreak havoc on your body, then you will wake up every 2-3 hour because of aches & pains, or you need to take a leak, for the rest of your life.:emoji_tired_face:

I'm in a similar boat trying to find the secret to good sleep. There are some breathing techniques, pressure points, military sleep, exercise during the day etc that I've tried. Not much help so far.

I've tried a ton of stuff, what works best for me is two shots of Bourbon and listening to golf or NASCAR or a meditation video on the TV, with the brightness turned all the way down.

Measuring the ROI of influencer marketing campaigns is crucial to understanding their effectiveness and justifying investment. Tracking key metrics like engagement rates, click-throughs, conversions, and sales helps quantify success. When measuring influencer marketing campaign ROI, using unique promo codes or affiliate links assigned to influencers can provide clear data on revenue generated. Additionally, monitoring brand awareness and sentiment through social listening tools adds valuable insights. Combining these quantitative and qualitative measures ensures a comprehensive view of campaign performance and guides future strategy adjustments for better results.
Balancing so many responsibilities is impressive but running on only a few hours of sleep isn’t sustainable. Try setting a consistent bedtime routine to help your brain wind down, such as limiting screen time before sleep or practicing relaxation techniques. Short naps during the day can also help. Prioritizing tasks and delegating when possible might free up some time to rest. Getting better sleep will improve your energy and productivity in the long run.
