Just got a call from a buddy of mine that tropical storm Hannah knocked down two of his pecan trees. He's already cut n split the wood n told me come take all I want. Not sure if any of yall have pecan experience, but I remember my ol' Uncle Jay swore by it. All I've ever used was hickory, mesquite & a little apple. Lookin forward to using this once it dries out.

Pecan is great. Much like hickory, just milder.

Both hickory and Pecan are in the same taxonomic family. It's my main wood these days.
