Texas Snow Feb 12th 2010

Snow is deep in Texas . I have not seen snow this deep since 1978 ( I think ) .This is my daughter and her dog Muscles lol . Man we got all kinds of snow . I know some of you are laughing but we don't get snow like this very often if any snow falls it's a big deal .

We had 2 - 3 " of sneaux here in baton Rouge from 7 am to 10 am this morning . All gone by noon. Now just a sloppy mess.
Glad it will be dry for the mardi gras parade tomorrow.

They teased us here in Austin that there was a "distinct posibility of snow", but we only received sleet and a little dusting in some areas. I'm ready for 105 degrees with 90% humidity. I HATE THE COLD!!!!

Down here in North Florida they are saying maybe we could get some snow but we haven't had any since 96 or so and this town shut down. The city closed all the brigdes in town and we have almost 3000 here so you pretty much couldn't go anywhere well the beer store was close too. I was Happy then.

Well this snow storm cost me getting my Lang 60 Delux this weekend, hunting season is over, SNOW BE GONE.

Snow here in North Texas Also. At least it is not as bad as Dec. 24th storm. My Pit and my Harley think that I've abandoned them.

I got snow flurries here at camp for about 2 hours late this afternoon but it was a little to warm for it to stick. Its not supposed to be snowing in Florida whether it sticks or not its not supposed to happen I'm cold

That snow should make for a bumper crop of Texas wildflowers. Maybe I should start planning a motorcycle ride to the hill country for April or so.
