texas electric smoker??

does anyone use this product? and how do you like it? seems to be a pretty nice one.and with the addition of the cold smoker insert. a heck of a smoker.

I don't have one, but the only problem I see with it is that it doesnt have a damper on top to let moisture out. It may the best thing since sliced bread though. I just wanted to share my observation.

I have the 1300. it is the same as the 1400 except the outside cabinet is powder coated. It does has a vent in the very top it is only about 1" in dia. I am pretty much happy with it and have smoked in 20 deg weather. even though it is insulated the wind still has an effect on it I just use a wind screen and it works well. there is a temp variation with the thermostat of about 30 deg between shut off and kick on. the company stated that normal. You might want to also check out cookshack.com they have a unit just like the smoking text. and I pretty sure that cook shacks is made in the USA. smokin tex is made in China. If you have any more questions I will be glad to answer them
