Texas Care Package

Just got my annual Texas Care Package today.

Dried sausage, jerky and candied pecans!

The dried sausage is venison and pork. Small hog casings for the dried sausage. They are in pairs like Landjaeger but not flattened.

So good!

He sent about 10 pounds of jerky and dried sausage. His family processed 700 pounds of sausage so far this year and deer season still open....

That would be a really nice package to receive it all sounds very good. I can remember processing those big amounts and I don't miss it.

Nice. Pecans running late here in Texas this year. I will getting mine cracked next week. I just made some of my Garlic Habanero Honey pecans.
