Testing temp spike w/ rib roast

Got a new twin temp spike and figured that I would run a rib roast today and try them out.. Roast going on ( ribs too).

I've got mine in a turkey breast as we speak.This will be 4th time using it.

Putting mine on in a minute. Using the @Inkbirdbbq 4 probe wifi on its first run. Running it with my old wired inkbird also just cuz it's prime rib

And here I am dusting off my ancient Maverick for todays Prime Rib roast. Had to bang on it a few times to get it powered up :)

All done.. Temp spike did everything I hoped it would. Used some of the smoked cheese from last month on top of some microwave Yukon taters. Caesars salad. I hope every1 had an awesome day !!
Broiled in the oven to crisp up the fat...

Mavericks are a tank. I just got wireless cuz in a sucker for a deal.

Not exactly apples to apples but the wireless is a longer probe. So far they are reading close.

Hmmm now isn't this interesting. The wired probe is showing 10 degrees cooler than the spike. It was cleaned and scrubbed just before use.
