Testing temp spike w/ rib roast

Got a new twin temp spike and figured that I would run a rib roast today and try them out.. Roast going on ( ribs too).

I am going to give mine a test drive today as well. I will use a back up but excited to see how they perform...Watching, Merry Christmas.

All done.. Temp spike did everything I hoped it would. Used some of the smoked cheese from last month on top of some microwave Yukon taters. Caesars salad. I hope every1 had an awesome day !!
Broiled in the oven to crisp up the fat...

Hmmm now isn't this interesting. The wired probe is showing 10 degrees cooler than the spike. It was cleaned and scrubbed just before use.
