Temp question

    Would it make sense to put my amps in my electric smoker with no heat or do I want to keep it closer to that 70/80 degree mark? I did my first batch from 60-80 degrees for around 2 hrs with apple, rested for 2 weeks and it was ok. Temps this weekend are low teens, I guess the question is do I need heat or can I just throw it in the cold smoker?

    Yep.....  just cold smoke it...  You may have to start the heat to get a draft going and then turn the heat off....  be sure you have the inlet and exhaust open for good air flow......
