If anyone has some ideas or tips to keep the temp up on a box charcoal smoker, I am all EARS!!! I can get it to about 190 to 195 and thats it no matter if I change Charcoal brands.  
 
How much charcoal are you using....  are the vents wide open, top and bottom...  Is your thermometer calibrated in boiling water...   are you using a water pan with water in it...  (don't).....
