Temp probe location

Where is the best location to place my temp probe? I was thinking about 2/3 way up but that’s an uneducated guess.

Depends on type of smoker you have. The more important thing to take away from this is that once you settle on a location, make sure it is the same place every cook so you can consistently monitor temperature.
