Superbowl 2023

With the Super Bowl coming up what is your favorite snacks to make? I always do pigs in a blanket, smoked queso dip & usually chicken wings or ribs! This is one of my favorite events to host.

What about you guys?

Aren’t you the early bird

I always make things that are iconic for those particular teams’ cities. Cincinnati was a tough one last year since I hate that chili. LA not much better.

Philly/Dallas/SF and Buffalo/KC would all work great this year.

Crock pot of lil smokeys with grape jelly and bbq sauce, vortex wings, smoked cheese with triscuits and hot sauce, and boiled peanuts.

Philly/Dallas/SF and Buffalo/KC would all work great this year.

I like this idea and may try it this year. Might even get beers from those cities too as I’ve seen people do that previously.

I hope it’s Philly for a few reasons - not a big NFL fan, but root for them. Philly Cheesesteaks. Lots of good breweries in Philly and their beer is fairly easy to obtain.

Well I for one hope Dallas does not make it, can't stand them. Not much of a Philly fan but cheesesteaks and pretzels sure would be nice.

Same here … food aside can’t root for either, being a longtime Giants fan. Also Bills fan in the AFC.

I'm not hopeful for the Chiefs after watching them play Denver. They could very well be 'one and out' in the play offs.
Not sure what we will be cooking yet, haven't thought about it. Wings, little smokeys and caso dip seems to be the go to around here.

I dont even try to compete with jcam222 . He is the plating wizard. Best you can do is shoot for 2nd place. LOL! And his meals are always top notch.

I've got nothing to add in the way of favorite Super Bowl snacks, though I'm seeing some amazing ones posted here.

Since I don't care much about the game, I go skiing on Super Bowl Sunday. The lift lines are shorter. It's a great time to be on the slopes.

Giants, Jets, then the Bills are my first three choices. If KC is in there and not playing a NY team then I'll root for them. I like Mahomes he seems down to earth.

May attempt dim sum or chowder in sourdough bread bowl for SF, along with something Ghirardelli.

We’ll see if we get a dark horse.

Ha thanks for the compliment Jim. Plenty of great plating on the site besides mine. Man guys like chilerelleno Disco and ChefJimmy(RIP) really inspired me to up my game. I had ZERO plating skills before joining this site.
