Good thread and some great ideas. Chips and guacamole or queso for an app sounds really good. Maybe doing chicken wings or brisket with a side or 2 for the main meal. Have a brisket in the freezer, so have to thaw it out soon lol.

Sounds like a plan to me Derek. I am thinking brisket myself. Queso sounds great too.

Was gonna do some ribs and Mac and cheese but high temps for Sunday -10°. Gonna suck up a lot of pellets if I decide to go thru with it. :emoji_thinking:

Ouch and I think the 30 It was here was cold. Gotta do it sacrifice for the ribs and mac and cheese!

You know Derek, I could sit there and eat nothing but chips, guac, and queso all day and not need anything else. Tracy only makes two things and queso is one of them. She makes a REALLY good queso too. You may well be onto something here :emoji_wink:

I would spin a turkey on the SM and sit on the patio drinking beers and watching the game.

Going through all that to do a turkey for two people is a bit overkill. I might just try something totally bizarre. A good friend (won't mention any names :emoji_laughing:) sent me a couple jars of amazing authentic Jamaican jerk sauce in a Christmas exchange. I might just try making some Jamaican jerked pork burnt ends and some sides. Still trying to get my brain wrapped around it.

Only 12? Better make it 18...you aint driving!

Hey...you forgot about the 6 bottles of top shelf bourbon. Those along with my support group should be plenty.

Man that all sounds great! Going for Brady or Mahomes?

That's a great question. I'll pick Brady just because 10 trips to the SB isn't by accident but do NOT rule out Mahomes. I think TB defense might be the deciding factor. Let the games (and great cooking) begin!!!

Leftover baby backs and burnt ends. I’m also going to test-smoke a ham on my home brewed offset smoker I finished yesterday. And I still have one batch of trail mix to snack on.

Robert, I’m sitting here thinking I could really go for some queso right now. That’s it. That’s the plan. That and a brisket with some beans maybe.

How do you make your queso Derek? I thought about smoking some but have heard mixed reviews on it so was just curious.

You will probably laugh, but my favorite (only made once) is Meat Church’s. I think that sausage addition got me lol. I did NOT smoke it though. Did everything in the crockpot. See below:

Hbu?

Usually just the classic Velveeta and rotel sometimes with some other additions thrown in. Think I am going to give TNJAKE TNJAKE cowboy queso a go on Sunday.
