Just thought I'd share my Q-View with you guys.
This is the first smoke since the mods on my Char-Griller Pro. I can't say enough about how much more even temps were after the tuning plates were added. It made a great difference in the performance. Also, the 3" River Country Temp gauges showed that the original Char-Griller gauge is about 75 degrees off!!
I used the 3-2-1 Method along with the Minion Method for the charcoal. Man, what a difference that made too.
I can't wait til the next smoke. I now have confidence that the results will be much more consistent.
