The butt has now rested for 2 hours.  The shoulder bone will just pull out of the butt about like this.

This is what competitors call "the money muscle"  You will find that it is a bit more firm than the surrounding meat.

I like to use the South Florida Quers finishing sauce on all my Pork. Its on this site under the Pork Sticky.   In fact I even use this stuff on brisket.

And here it is.  Your pulled pork should look something like this. Jeff's Rub is a real hit.  Hope this helps.

Mikey... You are alway too kind.  Thank you.  Brian

Most of Ya'll eat your pulled pork on white buns.  Forgive me if we go Texas style.

Enjoy!

Brian

Your welcome BD, always like to compliment on great looking food and I know I have to get better at the Q-view.....lol.......

The pork butt looks great. I will be doing a pork butt on Sunday with a friend of mine, I will be using Jeffs rub recipe and gonna make some bone sucking sauce and my friend who is nervous about homemade rub and sauce is gonna buy some rub and sauce and do a pork butt and we are gonna compare results. It should be fun to see how they both turn out. Its my first time using Jeff's rub so I'm excited to give it a try. Hope everyone has a great weekend!
