sunday chickens and first time abt's w/q-view

been cooking so muck here lately that i haven't had time to q me and the wife much of anything.so today's smoke is beer can chickens and my first try at abts. can't wait to try these treats i've read so much about.

chicken was real good,abt's whoa!!!! that's good eats my friends!!! me and the wife scarfed them down so fast and while we were still eating them she was saying how for her family reunion next month i gotta fix a pile of these!! thanks to this board i now have another great food item in the bar-b-q arsenal.

oh i cooked these at about 225-250

Dirtman .... atomic buffalo turds .... jalapeno peppers halfed,seeded and stuffed with whatever ... like salsa and cream cheese etc etc ....whatever you like , then wrap in bacon and smoke till the bacon is done to your liking .... good stuff !!

Looks great daddio! Love the arrangement on the grate - like the birds are guarding the ABT's! I normaly have to hide them till I'm ready to put em out to eat, but armed guards would be nice too!
